Senior Front end Engineer

 

Location: Louisville, CO or Sunnyvale, CA

About the Role

Timeli is at a pivotal point in engineering as we move into a phase of rapid customer growth and product expansion. We are looking for a front-end engineer experienced in building data driven web applications in Web 3.0 technologies. The ideal candidate will have an eye for design and a proven track record building creative solutions for visually displaying complex data and concepts. This engineer will be a part of the core development team and will not only make and break amazing code, but will also shape the culture of our engineering team as the product footprint expands.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have 2+ years experience with the following

  • HTML5

  • CSS3

  • Angular

  • Bootstrap

  • A graphing library like D3.js, Highcharts

  • Agile methodologies

  • Git

  • Experience consuming REST APIs, prefer 4+ years

  • Javascript, prefer 4+ years

  • jQuery, prefer 4+ years

 

Philosophies we like

  • Less code is cleaner

  • Modularize and re-use

  • HTML > CSS > JS

 

You get bonus points if you have experience with

  • Scala

  • Java

  • Node.js

  • Previous experience in analytics/predictive/machine learning

 

In addition to writing code, your daily tasks will include

  • Participating in Agile methodologies for product development

  • Designing, developing, testing, and supporting software

  • Presenting ideas in a dynamic group setting

  • Creating documentation

  • Participating in gathering requirements for new system development

Education

We are looking for candidates with a college degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
